Have I mentioned to you all that I've been busy? 

That's kind of a joke. Of course you already knew that.

Well, I'm happy to say that one of the projects I was working towards is now over and was extremely successful!

I was contacted by Chelsey a few months ago and asked to participate in her new and fresh craft show in our town. And let me just tell you, the girl does not disappoint! She did an absolutely incredible job, top to bottom. I could not have been more impressed. :)

Here are the pictures from my booth. I was so nervous about how this would turn out, but in the end, I was very happy with it!

Also, a huge thanks to my girl, Whitney for all her help with the props on my booth. You are amazing, Whit! Love you!!

Friday Highs.v27

Better late than never, right? :)

Definitely Molly girl swinging for the first time. I hope this weekend we can take her to the park so that Chris can see first hand the sheer delight she experiences. :)

On one of our walks this week, I kicked a rock and Molly girl found it hilarious. So hilarious, in fact, that I kicked it the whole way home. Anything to hear that precious laugh.

One morning this week Chris and I went in to get Molly out of bed and she was holding her bunny, which she then proceeded to kiss. I kid you not. She kissed her bunny. It was just the sweetest thing.

And let me just say, should she decide to make this bunny her official "lovey", I'd better start saving to buy a backup. (I'm not sure if that link will stay, so if not, let me just tell you the bid is at $70 right now. SEVENTY DOLLARS, people.)

A few weeks ago, some friends gathered and we made pancakes, eggs, and potatoes for dinner. While we girls were finishing up our craft projects, the guys went to the grocery store and our friend Travis wore Molly in the sling. How adorable is this??

but I see a picture of my Jesus, 
pruning me to be made more like Him. 


In John 15 (here), Jesus talks about cutting off branches that don't bear fruit and how he will prune the branches that do bear fruit so that they will be fruitful. This is a constant prayer of mine--


Lord, weed out the stuff that clouds my vision and the things of this life that have little value, and help me remain in You.

So, that's how my shop came to be:

I'm just a girl trying to mimick my Maker....making all things new. I strive to repurpose things--be it an old pair of pants, an old sweater, or an old sheet. My goal is to take something that would have otherwise been trashed and turn it into something beautiful and useful.

It was about time.

So much held me back. Mainly Fear. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of not doing every exact thing perfectly. Fear of not actually being able to do it. 

But I think I've crossed over the first hurdle. 

Three things are listed.

Edit: I am so sad to say this....When I was originally making plans for my shop, I simply typed the name I wanted into the search bar in etsy. When I didn't find anything, I assumed I could use the name: ADCreations. When I went to register today, I sadly found out that this name is already taken. What a bummer. I should have waited to make the announcement. HOWEVER, I am still totally excited and will for sure have a shop opening by the end of the month. I'm off to conjure up a new name!

That's right. My etsy shop will finally be opening. My goal is to have it up and running this month. So be on the lookout, and tell your friends! I'll be sharing more soon, including sneak previews of the items I'll be selling, the meaning behind my name, and my business practices, so to speak.
