This picture gave me a good chuckle this morning.

In all reality, my job does not end at 5pm today. Haha. But what Friday evening does bring is Chris. For the whole weekend.

Wouldn't you know, as I'm wrapping up this post, my dear husband has gone and taken the kid and is bringing back donuts. What a guy. Twenty minutes of time to myself with the knowledge that donuts are on their way? Um, yes. Thank you. 

But seriously, I love you babe. Even though I may have to fight ice cream for your love. :) :)

Going on 1.5 hours of "me" time this morning. Kinda makes up for approximately  t w o  hours we were up with our little girl in the middle of the night. :)

The Farming Festival & Update

This past weekend, we went to a "Farming Festival" in a small town nearby. It had elements of a fall festival, but definitely had lots of farming vibes as well.

Molly saw a sheep for the first time! She kind of had this blank stare the whole time we were looking at the animals. I think she was working hard to piece together that this is the animal that says "Baaa!" (And oh my goodness, this particular sheep baaa-ed really loudly!)
