Friday Highs.v48

Oh heeeey blog. Hey blog friends.
*waving*
It's been a while. I've been busy planning a baby shower for my dear friend, as well as Molly's second birthday! AH, how is my baby almost two?!

Anyway, how about a little bit 'o Friday Highs to play catch up?

***********

Molly helping me make dinner. I love giving her little jobs and seeing her delight in helping me. Even if it may take just a little bit longer than if I were to do it myself, it's teaching her and I can see how much she enjoys it. :)

***********

Pretty sure I laid him on his play mat. Then looked over a couple of minutes later and here he was:

First time drawing with sidewalk chalk.
We are loving this weather and being able to do more activities outside. So refreshing!

***********

Molly's first ice cream cone.

***********
I mean seriously, is there a cuter face?
And where would find cuter ears!?

***********

Molly in her mismatched jammies, tucking Elmo into her bed. She pulled up the covers, said a Bible verse, and then sang "Jesus Loves Me." Little mama!

***********

These two precious babies. Cannot get over how blessed I am to be their mama.

A quick reminder

Growing up, I somehow had this warped picture that when I got into heaven, as I was passing through the pearly gates, God would recount each and every one of my sins to me for every to see. Like, on a big screen TV. Larger than life.

Can you imagine the embarrassment? The humiliation?
(Also, how LONG that would take for each and every person!?)

I'm so thankful this morning that my God has completely forgiven all of my sins. In fact, Psalm 130 says:

If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins,
O Lord, who could stand?

(Who could stand!? Noone!)

and Colossians 2:13-15, which says:

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.

I'm so thankful this morning for my new vision of entering eternity.

I imagine Jesus, waiting there for me expectantly
and excitedly saying,

Welcome, my child, your sins are forgiven.
Your penalty has been paid in full.

Better Life Bags

Where do I even begin? Besides the fact that these bags are completely awesome, the girl behind the shop and core of her business is amazing.

To quickly sum it up, Rebecca employs women that otherwise wouldn't have jobs and pays them a sustainable wage. Her business is all about pouring into the community and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Read more about Better Life Bag's mission here.
(and be sure to watch the quick video!)
Read Rebecca's blog here.
And finally, shop the bags here.
