Breakfast for Dinner....

...With a TWIST!

This might be our new favorite way of making breakfast food. Maybe you've heard of this. It's called Oven Pancakes, aka German Pancakes. I used this recipe found on allrecipes.com, and took the suggestion of the first review, as well as used a little less butter. So combined, here is the recipe:

Oven Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 TB brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). In a small bowl, mix together white sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  2. Place butter in a 9 inch cake pan and heat in the oven until melted. In a blender or food processor, whip eggs and milk. Pour in flour, brown sugar, and vanilla and beat until well combined. Pour batter into hot pan. Sprinkle on sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until puffed and golden. Drizzle with syrup and serve warm.

Looks delicious, right?

Now for another twist....eggs baked in muffin tins.
So quick and so easy. They don't taste all that different than the way you'd normally make eggs, but they're super fun!

Nothing fancy, just set your oven to 350, spray the tin, and crack in the egg! I've tried scrambled as well as over easy, and both work great.

Mmmm, mmmm! A delicious twist on your normal Pancakes and eggs. Enjoy :)
